3M General Purpose Masking Tape 234 is a 5.9 mil crepe paper tape with a rubber adhesive and a saturant-treated backing that resists heat, moisture, and solvents. The crepe construction conforms to slightly irregular surfaces, supporting sharp, accurate paint lines and clean removal after masking.

Rated to 250°F for 30 minutes, this tape is well suited for medium-temperature bake and paint cure cycles in automotive finishing, metal fabrication, and industrial coating operations. It also performs reliably for bundling, surface protection, and general masking in manufacturing facilities and finishing shops.

The tape bonds to powder-coated surfaces, stainless steel, and common industrial substrates. Each case contains 12 rolls at 60 yards per roll — the longer roll length reduces change-outs during high-volume tasks. Cases ship via parcel carrier.
